I bet you thought I was gone forever.

But you couldn’t be more wrong.

I created the blog a year ago with the intent of creating regular posts. As is par for the course, life likes to get in the way of things like that. I’ve since moved house, gotten a new job, and many other things I won’t get into.

A rather awesome part of having my own place, though - is that I get free reign to embark on bigger projects, such as running fiber through the attic. Oh how I love having fiber internet.

And what does fiber internet pair really well with? That’s right - a fully fledged homelab rack. I’ve finally been able to spread my wings and rackmount anything and everything (19 or fewer inches wide, of course).

Note: in the move I completely (accidentally) deleted my dev environment, along with promptly forgetting how my Hugo workflow even worked… it took me a minute to get things up and running!

The takeaway being, I am back in the groove and very excited to dive deeper into the joys of having a more fleshed out homelab, as well as being back to writing blog posts.
